Stakeholders reflect on progress and the road ahead
Stakeholders met to review progress and agree on priorities for stronger early identification, referral and family support across the islands. The gathering reflected ZACSO's commitment to a Zanzibar where persons with autism are understood, accepted, supported and included in every part of society.
Advocacy sits at the heart of ZACSO's mission. By carrying the voices of families, caregivers and professionals to decision-makers, the organisation works to keep autism on the national agenda and to ensure that policies reflect the real needs of the community.
Stakeholders reflect on progress and the road ahead is part of a wider programme of awareness, early identification, therapy and intervention, inclusive education, family support, capacity building and community outreach led by ZACSO across the islands.
ZACSO extends its sincere gratitude to all partners, volunteers and community members whose support makes this work possible. Together we are building a more inclusive Zanzibar.
