Community session brings together parents, teachers and health workers

A lively community session drew parents, teachers and health workers who shared experiences and learned practical ways to support children with autism. The gathering reflected ZACSO's commitment to a Zanzibar where persons with autism are understood, accepted, supported and included in every part of society.

Outreach takes information, referral and support directly to communities, especially in underserved areas. Meeting families where they are helps reduce stigma and builds lasting local understanding of autism.

Every such moment moves ZACSO closer to its vision: an inclusive society that accepts and respects all children, youth and adults on the autism spectrum and empowers each person to reach their highest potential.

ZACSO extends its sincere gratitude to all partners, volunteers and community members whose support makes this work possible. Together we are building a more inclusive Zanzibar.
